Search and filters
Find a saved notification fast. Search text, conversation names, app names and file names, then filter by app, such as Gmail or Instagram, or by event.

Search the text, conversation names, app names and file names Saksi saved. Everything happens on your phone.
Search
- Open the Timeline.
- Tap the search icon at the top.
- Type a word, a name or part of a file name.
Search only covers what Saksi saved. If a message never appeared as a notification, it is not in your history.
Filter by event
Tap the event chip (it shows All) at the top of the Timeline and pick an event:

| Dismissed | Notifications you swiped away |
| Cleared | Notifications the app or Android removed |

Filter by app
Use the app filter to see the history of one app, for example only Gmail or only Instagram.
- Tap All apps at the top of the Timeline. The Filter by apps list opens.
- Tick the apps you want to see. Type in Search apps to find one quickly.
- Tap Apply. The chip now shows how many apps are selected, for example 1 app selected.
To see every app again, open the list and tap Clear.
The list shows apps that already have saved notifications. Tick Show all installed apps to see every app.
The app filter works together with search and the event chip. For example, pick Gmail and type a sender's name, or pick Telegram and choose Edited. You can also type an app name in search.
This changes what you see, not what Saksi saves.
To stop saving an app completely, open Settings > Capture & Apps > App Filter. Saksi then stops saving that app's new notifications; notifications already saved stay until the 7-day cleanup removes them.

Saksi also has a conversation view that shows the messages it saved from one conversation together, in order.
