Saksi stopped saving
Step by step checks when Saksi stops saving notifications: listener status, Notification Access, App Filter, battery use and the source app.

If new notifications stop appearing in your Timeline, work through these checks in order. Most cases are fixed by step 2 or step 4.
1. Check the capture status
- In Saksi, open Settings > Capture & Apps.
- Look at Source notifications:
- Listener connected: Saksi is receiving notifications. Go to step 3.
- Listener disconnected or Listener connection not established: go to step 2.
- For WhatsApp and Telegram, check the time after "last notification at". No notifications observed in this app session means Android delivered none from that app since Saksi started.
- Tap Refresh status after each change.
2. Turn Notification Access off and on
- Tap Fix setup in Settings > Capture & Apps to open Android Notification Access. If Notification Access is off, the Timeline also shows Fix setup, which reopens Saksi's setup screen.
- Turn Saksi off, then on again.
- Go back to Saksi and tap Refresh status.
3. Check App Filter
Open Settings > Capture & Apps > App Filter and make sure the app you expect is on.
4. Set battery use to Unrestricted
Open your phone's Settings > Apps > Saksi > Battery and choose Unrestricted or Always allow. Allow background usage if shown. See Battery restrictions.
5. Check the source app
- Make sure the chat app still shows notifications on this phone.
- Make sure the chat is not muted and not open on screen.
- After a system update or a cleaning app, check Notification Access again.
6. After Delete all data
Capture stays paused after Delete all data. Tap Resume capture on the Timeline.
Only what Android delivers
Saksi cannot save notifications Android does not deliver to it. Turning Do Not Disturb off or changing Saksi's settings does not guarantee a complete history.
