Receipts and sharing
Turn a saved message into a receipt image or text, hide the conversation name or chosen words, and share it through Android.

A receipt is a tidy image or text of one saved message that you can share with Android's share sheet. A receipt leaves your phone only when you tap Share.
Share a receipt
- Find the message in your Timeline.
- Tap the share icon on its card. The Share a receipt sheet opens with a preview.
- Choose a style: Classic receipt or Plot twist.
- Hide what you do not want to share (see below).
- Tap Share to send an image, or Share text to send it as text, and pick the app to send it with.
Hide details before you share
Hide the conversation name, the message text or specific words before you share:
- Hide conversation name: on by default.
- Hide message text: leaves the message itself out of the receipt.
- Hide words or names (comma separated): list words to cover, such as a name or a number. Each one shows as •••.
Your default choices live in Settings > Receipts & Sharing.
A receipt is not verification
A receipt shows what your phone's notification showed. It is not verification by the messaging app. Every receipt carries a note that it is not verification by the source app.
Current options
- Two styles are available today: Classic receipt and Plot twist.
- Premium receipt templates are planned with Saksi Pro. Saksi Pro is planned and not available yet.
- Receipts contain text only. Photos are not drawn into a receipt.
After you share
The app you shared with keeps its own copy. Shared copies cannot be recalled, and Delete all data in Saksi does not remove them.
